I’m a big fan of LinkedIn for reconnecting with colleagues and forging new relationships. But one of the site’s features that I have struggled with is the groups feature. Finding groups was a laborious process and I generally relied on other social networking sites for creating/joining special interest groups. I recently read on the Mashable blog that LinkedIn is rolling out a search feature for its groups directory that will make it much easier to find appropriate groups. This feature will be available at the end of the week, so be sure to spend some time browsing the groups on LinkedIn in the near future.
